Combat
战斗
There are three types of combat in Dark and Light: melee, magic and ranged. While in combat, it may be possible to be awkward, and find yourself missing your blows or incantations. So be sure to work on your combat skills before going out to conquer tougher enemies.
黑暗与光明游戏中有三种类型的战斗模式:肉搏、魔法和射击。在战斗中,是有可能移动笨拙,并且会发现一些攻击或者咒语会失效。所以请确认您在出面征服对手前,使用了战斗技能。
Melee Combat
内搏战斗模式
To melee, one must be in close combat with their opponent. It is essential to be properly prepared with adequate armor in order to help defend you from blows. And expect these blows to damage your armor. Also, the damage you take will be conducive to the opponent you fight. If you fight a dwarf, expect your armor to be battered about the knees. If you fight a dragon, you will see damage about the head and shoulders. As such, it is important to take care of all of your armor.

It is possible that there may be a place for craftsmen on the battlefield. This is something to consider if you are going on a long campaign, and do not wish to be without your armor.

There will need to be a balance found by Fighters for their stamina level and special hits. Switching between defense mode and combat mode may become necessary if their stamina is too low, and if there is some recovery time necessary after receiving a blow.
在战斗者之间,需要有一种耐久和特殊的撞击平衡。因此在双方耐久度下降的时候,防御和进攻模式的转换就非常必要了。并且在受到打击之后会有一个恢复的时间。
Magical Arts
魔法模式
The Mage will have three types of spells to use while in combat: area effect, direct target and shockwave effect. Basically, one set will affect a whole area at once, the direct target spells damage only the enemy target, while the shockwave will have a rolling effect... going outwards to the enemies.
在战斗中,施法者有三种咒语可以使用:群体攻击、直接目标攻击和冲击波攻击。基本上来说,第一种是使整个范围内的攻击,直接目标攻击咒语仅使目标敌人受到打击,冲击波攻击会取到一种旋转效果.....并冲荡出去攻击敌人。
With the area effect, this will only impact your opponent(s). Once cast, even if you are in a group of allies and enemies, only your enemies will feel any effects. It is impossible to fight your allies in any case, if you are away from the arenas in which no death is possible.
群体攻击时,只能使对手受到打击,而不会伤害到伙伴。一旦魔法施放出去,即使您在伙伴或者敌人当中,也仅使敌人受到伤害。在任何情况下都不会伤害到您的伙伴,如果您远离这个范围(才施法),那就没有(自己)死亡的可能性了。
As for the shockwave spells, when cast in a group of allies and opponents it is felt by all. These spells will in essence throw everyone around, and possibly knock some off their feet in the same fashion as the giant golem’s steps or the dragon’s shaving flight.

The direct target spells require an enemy target to hit and are comparable to the traditional fireball spells. The spell is launched at the enemy and does a certain amount of damage.

Ranged Combat

In Dark and Light, projectiles (spells, arrows, etc.) will be affected by the environment. For example, if you are an archer standing in the middle of a forest, and you see your target move through the trees... you will need to find a clean shot, or your arrow may find it’s way embedded in a tree trunk. Therefore, your opponent can find protection behind trees, rocks, buildings, etc., due to the game engine enabling the client side to recognize these obstacles. However, another character will not be able to intercept any projectile (with the exception of some spells), such as diving in front of an arrow to save another member of his or her party.
